DESCRIPTION

Costa Farm’s Sales Administrator is responsible for supporting the sales side structure. This position reports to the Sr. Director of Sales for the Multichannel team. The successful Sales Administrator develops long-term relationships with the customer and will be the liaison between the customer and cross-functional internal teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs. This individual will manage and inspire employees and ensure all business goals and objectives are reached that contribute to the sales of products to the retail consumer.


DUTIES

  • Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
  • Manage inbound and outbound pickup/delivery appointments
  • Review order shipping statuses to ensure successful deliveries
  • Assist in New Item Creation forms and support the NPD process
  • Field Customer inquiries/claims and deliver timely responses
  • Maintain Item Files internally/externally
  • Retrieve POs from EDI or other customer portals as needed
  • Generate new orders in ERP system
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute Sample Orders
  • Track the arrival, status and quality of plants for orders being shipped
    • Coordinate with brokerage, receiving and pulling departments in order to understand plant inventory and quality.
    • Generate reports as directed by management
    • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Ensure Programs are executed 100% on-time and in-full (OTIF)
  • Ensure POs are entered, shipped, and delivered in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma / GED Certification required
  • Proven work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent a plus
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and a very fast paced environment
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Problem solving capabilities and capable of handling multiple tasks and requests
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to listening
  • Product knowledge a plus
  • Bilingual English and Spanish
